Old shoe box full of pictures…
From L to R: Jesse, Wendy, Chelsea, Mercedes, Logan and Me. (All my cousins)
Looking through childhood pictures is bitter-sweet.
Fun:
Frolicking in mud puddles.
Countless bike rides.
Picking blueberries in the fall
Playing drive-thru McDonald’s in a tree in the backyard (we really had imaginations!)
Going in the basement to get a jar of grandma’s homemade pickles!
Ketchup and Mustard sandwiches (don’t knock em til you try em!)
Snow days!
The smell of summer.
Recess, Field Trips and Field Day.
Dropping eggs through the hole in the kitchen floor.
Laughing.
Sleepovers and staying up late.
Playing dress up.
Cousins.
Me and Jesse.
NOT so fun:
Getting in trouble for being muddy.
Flipping over the handle bars on your bike.
Bug bites.
Getting too old and not wanting to play drive-thru in the tree anymore
Cobwebs in the basement.
Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches.
Summer coming to an end.
Grandma’s house smelling like moth balls.
Getting off the bus at 5:30PM!
Getting in trouble for dropping eggs on the car in the garage (dropped them through the hole in the kitchen floor which is above the garage)
Crying.
Nightmares and fighting over toys.
Not being able to go back.
Missing my cousins. :(
Mercedes and Me. Our mothers always cut our hair the same. Shame on them!
